Evaporator Temperature Sensor / Switch: Testing and Inspection

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the glove compartment cover.
3. Disconnect the thermoswitch connector.
4. Release the seal plate between the front cooling unit and the front heater unit, then slide it to the heater unit side.
5. Insert a thermometer through the gap between the front cooling unit and the front heater unit, and measure the temperature of the front evaporator
6. Check for continuity between both terminals of the thermoswitch.
7. If not as specified, replace the thermoswitch.
