Condenser HVAC: Service and Repair




1. Discharge the refrigerant from the system.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Remove the receiver / drier.
4. Remove the condenser fan.
5. Disconnect the flexible hose (HI) and cooler pipe No.2.
6. Remove the bonnet lock assembly and the bonnet stay.

CAUTION: If moisture or foreign material enters the refrigeration system, cooling ability will be lowered and abnormal noise will occur. Always immediately plug all open fittings after removing any refrigeration system parts to keep moisture or foreign material out of the system.

7. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
8. Install in the reverse order of removal indicated in the table.
9. Install the bonnet lock assembly and the bonnet stay.
10. Reconnect the flexible hose (HI) and cooler pipe No.2.
11. Install the condenser fan.
12. Install the receiver/drier.
13. Connect the negative battery cable.
14. Charge the system and test its performance.

NOTE: When installing a new condenser, add ND-OIL8 compressor oil into the refrigeration system.

Supplemental amount: 40ml (40 cc, 1.4 fl.oz.)
