Fluid - Transfer Case: Testing and Inspection
1.
Remove the level plug.
2.
Verify that the oil is up to the brim of the level plug hole as shown. If it is low, add the specified oil through the filler plug port.
3.
Install the plugs and new washers. Tighten filler plug to
40 - 58 Nm (29 - 43 ft. lbs.) and level plug to
19 - 25 Nm (14 - 18 ft. lbs.).
