Valve Spring
1.
Install the lower spring seat.
2.
install the valve.
3.
Install the
valve spring with the closer pitch toward the cylinder head.
4.
Install the upper spring seat.
5.
Compress the
valve spring with the Special Service Tool
(SST), and install the valve keepers.
6.
Remove the SST.
7.
Tap the end of the valve stem lightly two or three times with a plastic hammer to verify that the keepers are fully seated.
