Inspection of Resistance
1.
Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor.
2.
Place the engine coolant temperature sensor in water with a thermometer and heat the water gradually.
3.
Measure the resistance of the sensor by using an ohmmeter.
4.
If not as specified, replace the engine coolant temperature sensor.
Tightening torque: 15.7-23.5 Nm (11.6-17.3 ft.lbs.)
