Receiver Dryer: Service and Repair

1. Recover the refrigerant.




2. Disconnect the A/C cycling switch connector.




3. Remove the A/C cycling switch.




4. Disconnect the A/C manifold and tube from the receiver/drier.

CAUTION:
- To prevent damage to the fitting and the tube, use a backup wrench when removing the receiver/drier.




5. Disconnect the receiver/drier from the A/C evaporator core.




6. Remove the clamp screw arid remove the receiver / drier.

CAUTION:
- To prevent damage to the fitting and the tube, use a backup wrench when installing the receiver/drier.

7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
1. Lubricate the O-ring seal with refrigerant oil.
