EGR Monitor Repair Verification Drive Cycle

NOTE: The ambient air temperature or IAT PID must read a minimum of 32°F (0°C) to initiate the EGR Monitor.

1. Follow the OBD II Drive Cycle Preparation Steps.
2. Start the engine and drive the vehicle for 6 minutes.
3. Drive in stop and go traffic for 5 minutes with at least two idle periods.
4. Accelerate to 45 mph (72 km/h). Maintain speed for 1 minute.
5. Rerun Continuous Memory, KOEO and KOER self-tests.
