Trunk / Liftgate Lock: Service and Repair
1.
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2.
To remove the liftgate outer handle, remove the rear garnish.
3.
To remove the liftgate lock striker, remove the mat end set plate.
4.
Remove in the order indicated in the table.
5.
Install in the reverse order of removal indicated in the table.
6.
Install the rear garnish.
7.
Connect the negative battery cable.
