BAC Valve Inspection





1. Connect the data link connector terminals TEN and GND by using the SST (System selector).

CAUTION:
- Misconnecting the data link connector terminals will possibly cause malfunction. Properly connect the specified terminals only.

2. Connect a dwell/tach. tester to the data link connector terminal IG-.
3. Start the engine at engine cold condition.
4. Verify that the idle speed decreases gradually as the engine warms up.
5. If not, check the water hose of the BAC valve.
6. If water hose is okay, replace the BAC valve.
