Variable Induction Control Valve: Testing and Inspection
1.
Remove the solenoid valve.
2.
Verify that air flows as shown below.
Specification 3.
If not as specified, replace the VRIS solenoid valve.
4.
Apply battery positive voltage to terminal A and ground terminal B of the solenoid valve. Verify that air flows as shown below.
Specification 5.
If not as specified, replace the VRIS solenoid valve.
