Sensor Test

THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR INSPECTION

1. Connect the SSTs (NGS tester) to the data link connector-2.
2. Verify that the throttle valve is at the closed throttle position.

3. Select the "PID/DATA MONITOR AND RECORD" function.
4. Select "TP V" on the NGS tester display. The NGS tester measures and shows the voltage.

Specification

5. If not as specified, inspect the throttle position sensor harness.
6. If the harness is okay, replace the throttle position sensor.
