Inspection of Resistance

1. Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor.

2. Place the engine coolant temperature sensor in water with a thermometer and heat the water gradually.

3. Measure the resistance of the sensor by using an ohmmeter.
- If not as specified, replace the engine coolant temperature sensor.

Tightening torque:
15.7 - 23.5 Nm {1.6 - 2.4 kg.m, 11.6 - 17.3 ft.lb.}
