EGR Monitor Repair Verification Drive Cycle

NOTE: The ambient air temperature or IAT PID must read a minimum of 0 °C (32 °F) to initiate the EGR monitor.

1. Follow the OBD II Drive Cycle Preparation Steps.

2. Start the engine and drive the vehicle for 6 minutes.
- Drive in stop-and-go traffic for 5 minutes with at least two idle periods.
- Accelerate to 72 kph (45 mph). Maintain speed for 1 minute.

3. Rerun Continuous Memory, KOEO and KOER self tests.
