Crankshaft Main Bearing

Main Bearing Cap Bolts
CAUTION: Seat the main bearings in the saddles prior to bolt tightening. Do not rotate the crankshaft until all main bearing caps are tightened or engine damage may occur.		Stage 1 Finger-tighten the bolts.
Stage 2 68-81 Nm (51-59 ft.lb)
Stage 3 102-115 Nm (76-84 ft.lb)
Main Bearings Clearance to Crankshaft - Desired 0.0008-0.0015 in
Clearance to Crankshaft - Allowable 0.0008-0.0026 in
Bearing Wall Thickness (Std.) 0.0956-0.0951 in
