Rear Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair

1. Lower the rear door glass fully.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.




Regulator Handle Removal Note
^ Remove the regulator handle clip by using a rag as shown.




Rear Door Glass Removal Note
1. Raise the front edge of the rear door glass about 50 mm {2.0 in} from the fully lowered position.
2. Remove the glass installation bolts and remove the glass from the inside of the sash.




Glass Run Channel Installation Note
^ Align the dowel of the glass run channel with the edge of the glass guide then install the glass run channel.




Regulator Handle Installation Note
1. Raise the rear door glass fully.
2. Install the clip in the regulator handle (A).
3. Push the regulator handle as shown (B).
