Center Mounted Brake Lamp: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the liftgate upper trim.




3. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.




High-mount Brake Light Removal Note
1. Push the hooks of the high-mount brake light through the service holes of the liftgate to remove it.

High-mount Brake Light Installation Note
1. Clean the contact surface of the vehicle.
2. Apply silicone grease to the contact surface of the high-mount brake light.
