Wiper Motor: Testing and Inspection

WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR INSPECTION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the windshield wiper motor connector.




3. Inspect for continuity between the windshield wiper motor terminals as indicated.




4. Connect battery positive voltage to the terminals of the windshield wiper motor connector and GND to a bare metal part of the vehicle. Verify that the windshield wiper motor operates as indicated.
- If not as specified, replace the windshield wiper motor.
