Camshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Remove the upper intake manifold.




3. Disconnect the connector the camshaft position (CMP) sensor electrical connector.




4. Remove the screws and the CMP sensor.
5. Install in reverse order of removal.

Tightening torque
2.5 - 3.5 N.m { 26 - 36 kgf.cm, 23 - 30 in.lbf }
