Traction Control Switch: Testing and Inspection

TCS OFF SWITCH INSPECTION
Switch and ABS/TCS HU/CM Harness Inspection
1. Inspect the wiring harness between the ABS/TCS HU/CM and TCS OFF switch for short to ground.
2. Remove the ABS/TCS HU/CM connector.





3. Measure the resistance between P and ground.
- If not within the specification, inspect the harness and the TCS OFF switch.
Resistance
When switch is pressed
1-100 Ohms
When switch is released
No continuity

Switch Operation Inspection





1. Remove the TCS OFF switch.
2. Inspect for continuity between terminals C and D.
- If there is no continuity, replace the TCS OFF switch.
