Cabin Temperature Sensor / Switch: Testing and Inspection
PASSENGER COMPARTMENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR1. Remove the passenger compartment temperature sensor.
2. Measure the temperature around the passenger compartment temperature sensor.
3. Measure the resistance between terminals B and D of the passenger compartment temperature sensor connector (male).
- If the resistance is not in the shaded zone indicated in the graph, replace the passenger compartment temperature sensor.
4. Connect battery positive voltage to terminal A and ground to terminal C of the passenger compartment temperature sensor connector (male) and verify fan operation.
- If not as specified, replace the passenger compartment temperature sensor.
