Combination Switch: Service and Repair

COMBINATION SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

WARNING:
- Handling the air bag module improperly can accidentally deploy the air bag, which may seriously injure you. Read AIR BAG SYSTEM SERVICE WARNINGS before handling the air bag module.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the driver-side air bag module.
3. Remove the steering wheel.
4. Remove the column cover.
5. Remove in the order as indicated below.




1. Connector
2. Screw
3. Combination switch

6. Install in the reverse order of removal.

COMBINATION SWITCH DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY

1. Disassemble in the order as indicated below.




1. Clock spring
2. Cancel cam
3. Spring
4. Light lever
5. Light unit
6. Wiper unit
7. Wiper lever
8. Clip

2. Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.

Light Lever:

Light Unit:

Wiper Lever:

1. See the table and insert the proper harness terminal into the correct position in the connector.
