Trunk / Liftgate Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection
LATCH POSITION SWITCH INSPECTION 1.
Remove the sliding door trim.
2.
Partially peel off the door screen.
3.
Disconnect the latch position switch connector.
4.
Inspect for continuity between the latch position switch terminals using an ohmmeter.

If not as specified, replace the sliding door lock.
