DESCRIPTION

Prior to installing an Electrochromic Mirror Kit w/Compass and HomeLink (p/n: 0000-8C-H07) on a Mazda6 vehicle, be advise of the following points:

^ The "blue" colored wire-tap supplied in the kit is incorrect. The wire-tap is too large and will not fully "crimp" the wire. This may cause a loose connection resulting in an inoperative mirror.

^ The mounting location for the mirror harness has changed.

NOTE:
The installation instructions will be revised in future kits, and a "red" wire-tap will replace the current blue wire-tap.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

1. When installing the mirror, discard the blue wire-tap supplied with the kit and use a (locally sourced) red wire-tap instead.





2. When performing the steps indicated in block 5 of the kit installation instructions, the following new fuse box locations must be used.
