Speed Sensor Rear Axle

SPEED SENSOR REAR AXLE REMOVAL / INSTALLATION
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Disconnect the rear axle speed sensor connector (1).
3. Remove the bolt (2).





4. Remove the rear axle speed sensor (3).

Note: Inspect the antilock brake sensor O-ring for damage; lightly lubricate O-ring with rear axle lubricant

Caution: Before removing the rear axle speed sensor, clean any dirt around the sensor to prevent the dirt from contaminating the rear axle fluid.

5. Install in reverse order of removal.
Tightening torque 31 - 40 Nm (3.5 - 4.1 kgf-cm, 25 - 29 ft. lbs.)
