Coolant Line/Hose: Service and Repair

BYPASS TUBE REMOVAL / INSTALLATION 3.0L

Note:
^ The bypass tube and the lower radiator hose are a molded one-piece assembly.
1. Drain the engine coolant from the radiator.





2. Remove the coolant bypass hose from the water pump
3. Remove the lower radiator hose.
4. Install in reverse order of removal.

Steps After Procedure
1. Fill the radiator with the specified amount and type of engine coolant and bleed the cooling system.
