Seat Occupant Sensor: Service and Repair

SEAT WEIGHT SENSOR CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM]


CAUTION When the seat weight sensor control module is replaced with a new one, perform the seat weight sensor calibration using the WDS or equivalent. (See SEAT WEIGHT SENSOR CALIBRATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM].)

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the passenger's seat.
3. Remove the seat under tray. (See FRONT SEAT DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY.)







4. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
