COIL REMOVAL/INSTALLATIONNOTE: The coil should not be removed unless it is being replaced.
1.
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2.
Remove the column cover.
3.
Disconnect the coil connector.
4.
Detach the steering lock tab from hole on the coil.
5.
Detach the coil tab from the steering lock and remove the coil.
6.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
