Side Seal Spring 1.
Assemble the side seal spring into the rotor.
2.
Assemble the side seal into the rotor.
3.
Measure the side seal projection using a vernier caliper.

If it is less than the minimum specification, replace the side seal spring.
Minimum projection
0.5 mm (0.02 in)
