Compressor to Condenser Line

Removal and Installation

1. Remove the front bumper cover.

CAUTION: Plug all ports to prevent contamination from dirt or moisture.




2. Remove the nut and disconnect the A/C discharge line (peanut) fitting.
3. Raise and support the vehicle. See LIFTING.




4. Remove the RH splash shield.




5. If equipped, disconnect the engine block heater electrical connector.




6. Disconnect the A/C clutch field coil electrical connector.

CAUTION: Plug all ports to prevent contamination from dirt or moisture.




7. Remove the A/C discharge tube line bolt.
8. Remove the A/C discharge tube line through the bottom of the vehicle.
9. To install, reverse the removal procedure
- Lubricate the O-ring seals with PAG Compressor Oil.
- Apply Pipe Sealant with Teflon� to the threads of the A/C manifold retaining bolt.
