PINPOINT TEST 2: A SINGLE MIRROR IS INOPERATIVE

Step 1 - 3:

Normal Operation
The exterior mirror control switch uses circuit (Y) as the common circuit for both of the exterior mirrors up/down and right/left movement. For the LH exterior rear view mirror, the exterior mirror control switch either directs voltage or provides ground on circuits (R) and (DL), depending on the direction of movement. For the RH exterior rear view mirror, the exterior mirror control switch either directs voltage or provides ground on circuits (DG) and (V) which also depends on the direction of movement.
