BRAKE PADS - FRONT

Removal and Installation





1. Remove the brake caliper clip.
2. Remove the brake caliper dust boot caps.
3. Remove the brake caliper guide bolts.

Caution: Do not allow the brake caliper to hang by the flexible hose.

Note: It is not necessary to remove the brake caliper jounce hose.

4. Remove the brake caliper from the anchor plate and support the brake caliper to the vehicle.





5. Remove the brake pads.
^ Remove the outer brake pad from the anchor plate.
^ Remove the inner brake pad from the brake caliper piston.
6. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Lubricate the brake caliper guide bolts with silicone grease.
