Rain Sensor: Service and Repair
RAIN SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATIONCAUTION: If the ignition switch is turned to the ON position after replacing a rain sensor with a new one, the rain sensor determines that there is no raindrops or dirt on the windshield and performs the initial setting. When replacing a rain sensor with a new one, thoroughly wipe off raindrops and dirt from the windshield.
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the rain sensor cover.
3. Disconnect the rain sensor connector.
4. Slide the tab in the direction of the arrow and remove the rain sensor.
5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
