PINPOINT TEST 2: THE FOG LAMPS ARE ON CONTINUOUSLYNormal Operation
When the parking lamps are on, the smart junction box (SJB) provides voltage to the fog lamp relay coil through circuit (O/LG). The fog lamp relay coil ground is sent to the fog lamp switch through circuit (LB/B). When the fog lamp switch is engaged, ground is completed through circuit (B). Voltage is supplied from the battery junction box (BJB) to the fog lamp relay through circuit (LG/Y). When the fog lamp relay is energized, voltage is routed to the fog lamps through circuit (T/O).
Possible Causes
- Circuit (LB/B) short to ground
- Circuit (T/O) short to voltage
- Fog lamp relay
- Fog lamp switch
