PINPOINT TEST 2: THE INTERIOR LAMPS STAY ON CONTINUOUSLY

Normal Operation
Fuse 13 (15 A) in the smart junction box (SJB) supplies voltage to the interior lamp/battery saver relay (integral to the SJB). When any door is opened, the door ajar switch closes, signaling the SJB. The SJB monitors the door ajar circuits, and based on the door ajar status, the SJB will supply voltage to the interior lamp on circuit (B/LB).

Possible Causes
- Circuit (B/LB) short to voltage
- Circuit (B/P) short to voltage
- Circuit (GY/R) short to ground
- Circuit (Y/B) short to ground
- Circuit (LG/B) short to ground
- Circuit (Y/LG) short to ground
- Instrument panel dimmer switch
- Door ajar switch
- Instrument cluster
- SJB
