Engine Control Module: Service and Repair

PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION[L3 WITH TC]

NOTE: For PCM replacement, set up the M-MDS and perform the PCM configuration. (See PCM CONFIGURATION[L3 WITH IC].)

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the charge air cooler duct.
3. Remove the Battery and battery tray
4. Remove the mudguard (LH).
5. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
6. When replacing the PCM on the vehicles, perform the following.
- PCM parameter reset (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM COMPONENT REPLACEMENT/KEY ADDITION AND CLEARING[ADVANCED KEYLESS SYSTEM].) (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM COMPONENT REPLACEMENT/KEY ADDITION AND CLEARING[KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM].)




7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
