DESCRIPTION





On some vehicles, grease may seep out from the corners of the audio panel. An excessive amount of grease was applied to the back of the switch during production. As a mass-production change, the amount of grease has been reduced.

Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

1. Verify customer concern.

2. Using a microfiber cloth (locally sourced) to wipe off excessive grease from audio panel.





CAUTION:
^ DO NOT get the microfiber cloth wet.

^ DO NOT apply any solvent, detergent or cleaner to the microfiber cloth or audio panel.

^ DO NOT rub the microfiber cloth too hard, or scratches may appear on the audio panel.

NOTE:
^ Once the grease is removed, the seepage will not reoccur.

3. Verify repair.
