6. Countershaft Component Disassembly

COUNTERSHAFT COMPONENT DISASSEMBLY

Note:
^ Measure the thrust and radial clearance of 3rd and 4th gear before disassembly.





1. Disassemble in the order indicated in the table.

Roller Bearing Disassembly Note





1. Remove the roller bearing using the SSTs and a press.

Counter Drive Gear Disassembly Note





1. Remove the counter drive gear using the SST and a press.

Counter 3rd Gear Disassembly Note





1. Remove the counter 3rd gear and clutch hub component (3rd/4th) together using the SST and a press.
