Clockspring Assembly / Spiral Cable: Testing and Inspection
CLOCK SPRING INSPECTION 1.
Remove the clock spring.
2.
Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table.

It not as indicated in the table, replace the clock spring.
NOTE -
When the vehicle-side connector to the clock spring is disconnected, terminals 1 A, 1 B, 1 C and 1 D are shorted to prevent unexpected operation (deployment) to the air bag module.
