PINPOINT TEST 2: THE HEADLAMP ON WARNING CHIME DOES NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY

Normal Operation
The headlamp on warning chime alerts the driver that the headlamps or parking lamps are on, the ignition switch is in the OFF position, and the driver door is opened. The instrument cluster uses the headlamps or parking lamps on signal from the illumination input, circuit (L/W) and uses the ignition run/start position status (operational mode of the cluster) and the driver door ajar input on circuit (V/O). When the instrument cluster receives all 3 inputs, the instrument cluster sounds the headlamps on warning chime.
