PINPOINT TEST 3: THE HIGH BEAMS ARE INOPERATIVENormal Operation
When the multifunction switch is placed in the HIGH BEAM position with the headlamps on, the multifunction switch routes voltage to the smart junction box(SJB) through circuit (G/BR). The SJB then routes voltage to the high beams through circuit (V/O).
This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Fuse
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Multifunction switch
- SJB
CAUTION: Use the correct probe adapter(s) when making measurements. Failure to use the correct probe adapter(s) may damage the connector.
