PINPOINT TEST 3: THE HAZARD LAMPS ARE INOPERATIVE

Normal Operation
The smart junction box (SJB) provides voltage to the indicator flasher relay through circuit (R). The indicator flasher relay routes the voltage to the multifunction switch through circuit (BR/Y). When the hazard switch is engaged, the multifunction switch routes the voltage to all the turn lamps.

Possible Causes
- Fuse
- Circuit (R) open
- Circuit (BR/Y) open, short to ground or voltage
- Indicator flasher relay
- Multifunction switch
- SJB

CAUTION: Use the correct probe adapter(s) when making measurements. Failure to use the correct probe adapter(s) may damage the connector.
