MANUAL TRANSMISSION OIL REPLACEMENT

Note:
^ Position a suitable drain pan under the transmission.

1. Remove the drain plug and drain the transmission.





2. Clean and install the drain plug.





Note:
^ Fill the transmission with the vehicle on a level surface.

Note:
^ Before removing, clean the area around the filler plug.

3. Remove the oil level plug with washer and add the specified amount and type of oil through the oil level plug hole. The fluid must be just below the fill plug hole.





Specified oil grade:
MERCON or M-III

Capacity:
2.6L (2.8 qt)

4. Clean and install the fill plug.

Tightening torque
48 Nm (4.9 kgf-m, 35 ft-lbf)
