Engine/Transmission Mount Neutralizing Procedure

ENGINE/TRANSMISSION MOUNT NEUTRALIZING PROCEDURE

1. With the vehicle in neutral, position it on a hoist.
2. Loosen, but do not remove, the engine and transmission mount fasteners.
3. Lower the vehicle.

Caution:
^ Do not twist or strain the powertrain/drivetrain mounts or damage to the mounts may occur.


4. Move the vehicle in forward and reverse 0.6-1.2 m (2-4 ft).
5. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
6. Tighten the engine and transmission mount fasteners.
7. Lower the vehicle.
8. Test the system for normal operation.
