Seat Occupant Classification Module - Air Bag: Service and Repair

SEAT WEIGHT SENSOR CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

CAUTION: When the seat weight sensor control module is replaced with a new one, perform the seat weight sensor calibration using the M-MDS. (See SEAT WEIGHT SENSOR CALIBRATION.) Programming and Relearning

1. Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
2. Remove the battery cover.
3. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for 1 min or more.
4. Remove in the order indicated in the table.






5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
