Oil Pressure Switch (For Fuel Pump): Service and Repair

ENGINE OIL PRESSURE (EOP) SWITCH - 2.3L REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Remove the bolts and the RH splash shield.
^ To install, tighten to 9 N-m (0.9 kgf-m, 18 ft-lbf).
3. Disconnect the oil pressure sender electrical connector.
4. Remove the oil pressure sender.
^ To install, tighten to 15 N-m (1.5 kgf-m, 11 ft-lbf).
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Note
^ Apply thread sealant to the oil pressure sender threads.
