Lateral Accelerometer: Service and Repair

STABILITY CONTROL SENSOR CLUSTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION





Warning
^ The traction battery and charging system contain high voltage components and wiring. High voltage insulated safety gloves and a face shield must be worn when carrying out any diagnostics on this vehicle. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious personal injury or death.

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the floor console.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Note
^ When installing the accelerometer the electrical connector must face the passenger seat.

4. Remove the 2 sensor cluster bolts.
^ To install, tighten to 10 N-m (1.0 kgf-m, 89 in-lbf).
5. Remove the sensor cluster.
6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
