Front Control Interface Module (FCIM) Removal/Installation

FRONT CONTROL INTERFACE MODULE (FCIM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION






NOTE: The front control interface module (FCIM) and the instrument panel center finish panel cannot be replace individually.

1. Remove the center instrument panel lower finish panel by pulling straight back.
2. Remove the 4 FCIM screws.
3. Remove the bolt and the audio unit ground strap.

NOTE: Pull the FCIM rearward enough to gain access to the audio unit ground strap.

4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
5. Remove the climate control assembly.




6. Remove the 4 screws (2 on each side) and separate the audio unit from the FCIM.
7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
