Accessory Drive Belt

FRONT END ACCESSORY DRIVE (FEAD)- 3.0L (4V) EXPLODED VIEW

Front End Accessory Drive (Fead)- 3.0L:





ACCESSORY DRIVE BELT - 3.0L (4V) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Remove the pin-type retainer, 5 bolts and the RH lower splash shield.
^ To install, tighten to 9 N-m (0.9 kgf-m, 80 in-lbf).
3. Using a suitable belt tension release tool, rotate the accessory drive belt tensioner counterclockwise and remove the accessory drive belt.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
