Solenoid Valve Removal/Installation (Secondary Control Valve Body) [FS5A-EL]

SOLENOID VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (SECONDARY CONTROL VALVE BODY) [FS5A-EL]

1. Remove the battery cover. Removal and Replacement

2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

3. Remove the battery duct. Removal and Replacement

4. Remove the battery, battery box and battery tray. Removal and Replacement

5. Remove the under cover.

6. Drain the ATF.

7. Remove the oil cover.

8. Remove the secondary control valve body. Secondary Control Valve Body Removal [FS5A-EL]

9. Remove the bracket.






10. Remove the solenoid valve(s).






11. Apply ATF to a new O-ring and install it on the solenoid valve.

12. Install the solenoid valve in the secondary control valve body.

Tightening torque
- 7.8-10.8 Nm
{80-110 kgf-cm, 70-95.4 in-lbf}

13. Install the secondary control valve body. Secondary Control Valve Body Removal [FS5A-EL]

14. Install the oil cover. Secondary Control Valve Body Removal [FS5A-EL]

15. Install the under cover.

16. Install the battery, battery box and battery tray. Removal and Replacement

17. Install the battery duct. Removal and Replacement

18. Connect the negative battery cable.

19. Install the battery cover. Removal and Replacement

20. Add ATF. Automatic Transaxle Fluid (ATF) Replacement [FS5A-EL]

21. Perform the mechanical system test. Mechanical System Test [FS5A-EL Transmission]

22. Perform the road test. Road Test [FS5A-EL Transmission]
