Trunk / Liftgate Switch: Service and Repair




TRUNK LID OPENER SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Vehicle Interior

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the lower panel. Lower Panel Removal/Installation

3. Remove the trunk lid opener switch in the direction of the arrow (2) shown in the figure while pressing the trunk lid opener warning switch tabs in the direction of the arrow (1).






4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Vehicle Exterior (With Advanced Keyless Entry And Push Button Start System)

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the rear finisher.

3. Remove the request switch in the direction of the arrow (2) shown in the figure while pressing the request warning switch tabs in the direction of the arrow (1).






4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
